[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide medical examiner laboratory information management system to electronic management of laboratory forensic testing, quality assurance records, controlled documents, and a compliance process potential contractor shall provide these services and be able to implement a fully integrated system solution that meets the laboratory’s needs and works in conjunction with other systems
- integrate with SQL-based software and laboratory equipment to allow for specimen management, reporting, test data storage and retrieval.
- convert from a paper-based system with no current to a fully functional paperless integrated with SQL-based software
- The system shall include supporting software modules, technology, and interfaces as identified required services installation, configuration, migration of legacy data, testing, training, and technical support during and after initial the development period
- Laboratory staff and pathologists will have pertinent laboratory management data readily available to finalize autopsy reports in an efficient and timely manner
- Laboratory staff and pathologists will use resources more efficiently and produce more timely information and autopsy reports due to reduction in the amount of time and manual processes required to test toxicology
- Barcode generation, scanning, and tracking
- Quality assurance
- Data transfer from the multiple existing databases
- Data security
- Data tracking
- In-laboratory communications
- Document management and retrieval, as well as retention and complete purge upon expiration of retention period
(2) A pre-proposal conference will be held on October 16, 2018.
(2) All question must be submitted no later than October 18, 2018.
(3) The contract term will be for one year.

Onshore (USA Only)
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
