Government Authority located in Phoenix, Arizona; USA based organization looking for expert vendor for superintendent search consultant services.
[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide superintendent search consultant services to facilitate the search process for new superintendent that will be carried out in cooperation with or at the direction of the governing board to the government authority located in Phoenix, AZ.
1. Recommend a selection and search process that best meets the needs and develop a timeline for the agreed upon search process that includes key milestones.
2. Assist in creating the candidate profile and qualifications, the development of which will include input from community and staff members.
3. Coordinate all advertising of the position in appropriate media and oversee the production of any collateral materials (e.g., brochure) that will need to be created and distributed; distribution shall be to lists and the consultant.
4. Actively recruit qualified candidates who may be interested in cultivating world-class thinkers and continue our journey of excellence and equity via recruitment strategies approved by the board. The consultant shall accept candidates’ submittals and shall communicate with applicants regarding their status (successful and unsuccessful) throughout the process.
5. Assist the governing board in developing the screening process and screen applicants down to a number of candidates (to be determined in conjunction with the governing board) consistent with criteria contained in the job description and information provided by the governing board. the consultant shall present an overview of all applications and a recommended finalist list to the governing board for interviews.
6. Verify the qualifications, experience, and eligibility of certification of final candidates by various means including checking references and conducting professional and personal background reviews.
7. Assist the governing board in developing the interview process and questions; the process will include involvement by staff and community members to provide constructive input and may expand to public information and participation forums.
8. Communicate with candidates selected for interviews and oversee scheduling, travel, and all related arrangements. The successful firm and qualifying candidates shall adhere to the policy and state mandates for travel costs and reimbursements. Only if warranted and approved, the successful firm shall coordinate and pay for travel expenses for qualifying candidates.
9. Facilitate contract negotiations with the offered candidate and serve as the district's liaison with this candidate to determine salary, benefits, working conditions, and length of contract.
10. Meet with and provide information to the governing board in full, any designated liaison thereof, or other representatives as required throughout the process.
11. Provide any other necessary related services to assist with disseminating appropriate information to stakeholders and the media.
12. Provide all requested services with strict confidentiality throughout the process.
13. Maintain complete documentation regarding the search and selection process, which shall become the property at the conclusion of the process.
(2) Contract term will be one year.

Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
