[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide aviation insurance broker services to provide insurance and other miscellaneous advice pertaining to aircraft insurance to the government authority located in Tucson, AZ.
- Negotiate with current insurer for improvements to coverage and pricing
- Prepare insurance coverage specifications and marketing plans prior to expiration of current policy or at the request of the city risk manager
- Analyze proposals received from various insurance companies and other parties
- Negotiate changes and verify the reasonableness of the price for the coverage period
- Provide extensive review of binders and policies including verification of conformity to specifications
- Request any necessary endorsements, changes or revisions that may be required.
- Provide a policy summary spreadsheet including premium, policy terms, policy numbers, deductibles and annual premium
- Make recommendations as to the most advantageous insurance program providing the highest level of coverage at the best possible price to meet the city needs
(2) A pre-proposal conference will be held on December 21, 2018.
(3) Contract period will be for one year.
