Government Authority located in Phoenix, Arizona; USA based organization looking for expert vendor for medical director for breast cancer screening services.
[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide medical director for breast cancer screening services to the government authority located in Phoenix, AZ.
Provide clinical oversight in regards to breast cancer aspects of the program, specifically the screening, diagnostic, and treatment services provided by staff, nurse practitioners, physician assistants, physicians, laboratory technicians, radiologists, and surgeons;
- help establish and strengthen the quality assurance and professional development components, by providing clinical consultation and guidance to the state staff and local provider
- act as a resource to the state staff for clinical questions of medical appropriateness, utilization, quality of service and provide technical assistance
- be available for consultation via conference call with the program’s clinical quality manager to review clinical issues, review prior authorization requests, and provide guidance related to clinical care
- collaborate with the to assist with promoting the program and breast cancer issues within appropriate professional groups
- assist program staff with the development or review of clinical policies and procedures
- answer questions and provide education about breast cancer screening and diagnostic techniques, interpretation of results, and other clinical issues related to breast cancer screening, diagnosis and treatment including but not limited to, consultation and/or professional development for screening site providers and staff
- develop and maintain an active role in related professional groups to share information about program services and seek assistance from providers and professional groups in finding critical resources for the program
- advise the office chief, or appointed staff, on  use of current procedural terminology and medi care part b reimbursement.
(2) The term of the contract shall be one year.

[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
