[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide waste management and recycling services to the government authority located in Tucson, AZ.
- Containers must have lightweight hinged top doors and trash containers must not leak fluids
- The district reserves the right to change the quantity and size of the container needed and number of pick-ups per week at any time during the contract at no cost to the district for change out
- The successful contractor shall provide additional containers, remove containers, or replace containers due to changes in sizing requirements within three business days
- All equipment furnished by the contractor for use by the district shall remain the property of the contractor and the district shall have no right, title, or interest in such equipment under the contract except for the use intended, including reasonable care and protection of property in contractor interest
- The Facilities Department must approve all changes involving recycling and trash containers
- If trash or recycling pick-ups vary from current schedule provided in this packet, changes must be submitted as an additional page for review by the facilities director
- All landfill charges must be included in prices offered
- Missed service will be deducted on a prorated basis
- Payments for service shall be made on a monthly basis
- All containers trash and recycle to be locked
- All trash and recycling bins are to be emptied and placed back in designated areas as marked, or as was placed prior to emptying
(2) A pre-bid meeting will be held on May 17, 2019.
