Vendor needs to provide housing feasibility study to the government authority located in Sahuarita, AZ.
- Analysis of the current need for housing development in Sahuarita, and a 10-year future housing need assessment, including the following information:
- Identify current housing services and resources available to the community.
- Identify current housing conditions and needs including, but not limited to: Population trends, Demographics, Employment trends, Housing market, Housing types, Construction trends,
- Identify and prioritize potential sites for housing development by type (single family, multifamily); especially
appropriate locations for workforce housing
- Provide development cost analysis of the most viable site for single family workforce housing development,
- Identify infrastructure that a housing builder developer would prefer/expect that the local community provide
in order to position the identified site for housing development
- Identify possible funding sources for the affected local governments to address the infrastructure needs
- The Town of Sahuarita has a Strategic Plan
Provide a strategic plan that will include but not limited to:
- Steps to address the housing needs.
- Recommended tools to incentivize workforce housing development.
- Short term and long-term goals for local governments, community agencies and others to address housing issues.
- Propose funding available to address the need of affordable housing.
