[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide professional services to conduct a road sign and pavement marking inventory within the city’s jurisdictional boundary to the government authority located in Phoenix, AZ.
- Geographic information system (GIS) roads layer identifying all routes to be included in the sign inventory. The provided GIS layer will include route nomenclature to be used during sign data collection. The GIS will include a total of approximately 140 centerline miles.
- The Contractor shall conduct a road sign inventory during daylight hours, identifying the
spatial location and required attributes for all road signs and pavement markings along the designated routes.
- Data collection shall include the use of global positioning system (GPS) technology, capable of sub-meter accuracy, to determine the latitude and longitude coordinates of each sign and pavement marking.
- Data collection shall include the use of a multi-camera or 360°-camera system, linked to the GPS data, to capture digital photographs of each sign. digital photographs of all signs shall be of sufficient resolution for a computer operator to discern at least the required attributes. The Contractor shall extract and assign all required attributes for each sign, post, and pavement marking.
(2) Contract term will be one year.
