[A] Budget: Looking for Proposals
[B] Scope of Service:
(1) Vendor needs to provide market research services to garner public feedback and opinion of regional transit and transportation alternatives. The Rider Satisfaction Survey (intercept and online) and on alternating years, there is also a Non-Rider Public Perception Survey (phone) conducted. There is also an annual Transportation Demand Management (TDM) Survey (phone) each spring. Valley Metro will also be working with the Contractor to conduct ad-hoc surveys, custom research projects and focus groups for such needs as understanding the favourability of transit, public opinion polling, productivity of routes and programs, usability of new mobile and web applications, etc. to the government authority located in Phoenix, AZ.
- Rider Satisfaction Survey: -The Rider Satisfaction Survey is managed by the Marketing Manager or designee. The biannual Rider Satisfaction Survey by intercept will have an overall sample of approximately 600 – 800 completed surveys representing a variety of demographic and psychographic groups, potentially including an over sample of up to 200 surveys.
- Non-Rider Public Perception Survey: - The Non-Rider Public Perception Survey is also managed by the Marketing Manager or designee. The biannual Non-Rider Public Perception Survey conducted by phone will have an overall sample of approximately 600 completed surveys representing a variety of demographic and psychographic groups throughout the Valley, potentially including an over sample of up to 200 surveys.
- Transportation Demand Management Survey: - The TDM Survey is managed the by Valley Metro TDM Manager or designee. The annual TDM Survey is based on a random sample phone survey of not less than 400 people that meet the following criteria: (1) 16 years and older and (2) reside in Maricopa County. A minimum of 75 percent of survey respondents will be employed full-time (32 hours or more per week) and 50 percent of survey respondents will be female.
- Ad-hoc surveys :- At Valley Metro’s sole discretion and availability of funds, the Contractor may assist with various ad-hoc intercept and/or telephone surveys for such needs as understanding the favourability of transit, public opinion polling, productivity of routes and programs, usability of new mobile and web applications, media content analysis, data-driven analysis, etc.
(2) A pre-bid conference will be held on July 10, 2019.
(3) Contract period will be for five years.

Onshore (USA Only)
[D] Work Performance:
Performance of the work will be Offsite. Vendor needs to carry work in their office location.
