[B] Scope of Service:
Vendor needs to provide online courseware and credit recovery program to the government authority located in Tucson, AZ.
- Web-based learning opportunities for our students (6-12) in the subject areas of ELA, science, social studies, electives, CTE, AP, and world languages.
- Web-based learning opportunities may be utilized to fill the following needs credit recovery for students who have taken a class, but have not met all of the standards in a given course and so not yet received credit, credit advancement courses for students desiring to obtain credit while enrolled full time in brick and mortar school, remediation/intervention/concept recovery assistance for students who have fallen behind in the traditional classroom and need individualized or targeted intervention to be successful in a designated course of study, full course of study for students enrolled full-time in virtual school, course of study for students who qualify for homebound study and would be appropriately served through web-based opportunities.
- Tools integral to the student, teacher, and management interface for Student/Student and Student/Teacher collaboration and communication, such as shared documents within projects, email, chat, interactive whiteboard, and video conferencing
- Explicit differentiation, including adaptive reading levels, for English-Language Learners and students with Special Education needs, and students with achievement gaps as well as a variety of adaptive and assistive technology features to assist other students with special needs.
- Diagnostic assessment framework to determine students’ instructional level and areas of weakness that places students at the appropriate instructional level based on assessment data.
- Course modification and customization options.
- A robust management system that has multiple levels of secure access allowing at least global, organization, classroom, and individual levels of customization and access controls.
- Attendance system that automatically registers time online and has options for student/parent self-reporting, and for exporting details to multiple data formats.
- Management system that allows end-user customization of reports.
- An integrated Single Sign-On option for students and staff which works with either Google OAuth or Active Directory tools.
- Export of student data, including detailed attendance logs, grades.
- NCAA accreditation assurances.
- Licensing for concurrent and individual use.
- Research outcomes that demonstrate the effectiveness of the program with special student populations like Sunnyside Unified School District, English Language Learners, and Special Education students.
- Includes a Train-the-Trainer professional development component to ensure effective program implementation.
- Provides ongoing technical support.
