Vendor needs to provide textbook adoption for the subject area of intermediate English language development 1-2 and 3-4 to the government authority located in Phoenix, AZ.
• Follows the 2019 Arizona English language proficiency standards
• Provides a practical approach to the teaching of academic writing that pairs literary and informational text
• Includes a comprehensive, user friendly teacher’s edition with explanations and models that are clear and easy to understand
• Contains high interest, authentic content, appropriate to high school students
• Is comprehensive and organized in such a way that students learn how to write effectively
• Supports the writing process and encourages revision, editing and proofreading
• Includes opportunities for self and peer reflection
• Provides directions that are easy to understand
• Includes ongoing professional development for teachers using the materials
• Includes multicultural, multi-ethnic and multiple intelligences
• Incorporates use of thinking stems, sentence starters, language frames and academic response frames
• Includes an editable Assessment Bank
• Includes an eBook (ePub) version accessible on Android, iOS and Windows mobile devices. Content should be downloadable and viewable without an internet connection.
